Monks
blarzee, b0ost, fear, al, cheung

Last but not least, Monks is a dark horse in this league. They have the potential to place highly but due to their lacking results over the previous year I think they will struggle to get out of the bottom 3. They have decent players with a fair amount of experience but it will take more than that at this League. They will lose to the top tier teams and will run away with a few victories up their sleeves.

LOLLLLLLL Quite sure they made kode5 nationals n more LOL!

the last 3 or 4 teams are hard to predict, in all fairness i think they are all on same level and it just depends on how they play on the day.

EDIT: Same with the top4

6. No flash bugging (3 round Penalty)
7. Must be 32 bit (3 round Penalty)

16bit should be auto forfeit the whole match IMO
use the flashbug proof maps

also PLEASE use a proper match.cfg on ur servers.. the network was almost unplayable last time, lock interp and rates, dl one from esea or use the one skills made either way it needs to be done!

what about the 16bit rule? I think round penalty is stupid, id take 3 round penalty to be able to 16bit on lan anyday lol!

Make it forfeit the game and if u do it again ur banned from the league.. seriously is anyone retarded enough to 16bit on LAN ?

what server cfg are u using if u dont mind me asking? if u need help with some server side cvars let us know.

format is round robin, 7 games for each leg.

Rize theres too many cvars for all the settings. I configured all the server and matchbot settings myself. your more then welcome to have a geez at lan, just come up and ask.

I agree with the 16 bit. I won't be playing so I will make sure everyone is 32 bit if i find a team with 16 bit ill deduct 3 rounds from every game they had previous to being caught and if they are caught again ill forfeit all their matches previous to being caught the second time.

^ didnt mean to take a direct stab at who ran the event and what not by saying that, i just mean its so simple to just setup the server with cfg n commands to have it run smooth and it makes 100000% diff. playing lan with anything over 5ping and somethings wrong =/

and cheers to pierre for takin time and running this thing, its what ya need to keep the scene alive and ppl playing, too many gaps between comps and ppl/teams quit :(

yo rize, i dunno what server settings sam uses, but i do know that pac has tweaked one specifically for the city hunter location. although you may get 6-7 ping, not your 5ping expectation =p

it took him a few events to get it right and now it's at its best.

I'm doing some testing now on the HLGUARD config locker, it seems a bit buggy. I'll try and get a new one or try a reinstall to fix it.

EDIT: I done some asking around, the new cs update stops the cvar lockers from working on clients. I'll try and find a solution but I think that was the issue with the last lan. The cvar lockers do not work on the updated cs.

ye i thought it might be that, worst case scenario piere you might have to do a interp check while your doing the 32 bit check, usually its just the newer teams that make this mistake as they dont know the difference most of the time.

Ok I found a solution. I have replaced HLGUARD with a new plugin. It constantly scans for and forces any client cvar it is configured to. It also send a server message notifying everyone in the server of the cvar used and it logs any cvar changes in a log file on the server. Looks very good and I have been testing it for the last few hours. I am going to install it online and players can join and test it out.
