just a quick rant - so apparently mike u said we cant play finals cause we didnt have "core 4 every week" however as most ppl thought it was a core 3 which we've had every week except week 1 which we're glad to lose the points from, however as i read the ruleset just then it says nowhere that u need a core 4 everyweek.. i mean i didnt plan for nahum to leave overseas after week 7 and hedgey to get a new job to work at beerwah making him unavailable... at least u could have told us by week 2 that we were unable to play finals if we made it... and if its a matter of us "being 2 good" then realistically u should have informed us if we played in div2 (even though u said we shouldnt be allowed in the division) that playing would mean we cannot win money in the end... our core 3 for every week except week 1 has been lizard, bal-scout and myself, and nahum would have been the core 4th if he did not have to leave for an overseas trip..
realistically theres 2 sides to the argument but in fair terms we should either be able to play the finals with our core 3 + hedgey who can now play as hes not working at beerwah now.. + 1 more person not in div1 for the finals... and if not receive our rego money back or else we realistically wouldnt have played if we didnt have the chance to win money..

I do see where the admins are coming from although, to not let us play finals at all is a bit harsh. We have had a core 3 for he majority of the season and will be using hedgey who will have played about 50% of the season for the remainder of the weeks to replace nahum, who had played every week. Honestly I wouldn't mind if we were ineligible for any prize money after finals for these reasons, but its a slap in the face to play an entire season, finish on top of the ladder and not be allowed to play finals.
I won't complain if the admins stick to their decision, but surely some middle grounds can be met. Its not advantaging us at all having to switch 5ths so late in the season.

jack please tell me when i ever said you needed core 4. you need 5 registered players, and 3 with an 80% attendance ratio in order to be eligible for finals. so you essentially need to have your lineup finalised, as you cant do finals without 5 registered players.
