just get the shuttle bus to torquay, nightlife is 300 times better, unless you just wanna get drunk on the beach and dont actually wanna go out
and oddly enough theres more cops in lorne than torquay, i mean, ratio cop:citizen or whatever.

i went for the whole week lastyear and it was good but if your really a schoolie DO NOT book through schoolies because you can only get people into your hotel visitor hours end at like 6 for all schoolies places.. soo book elsewhere like Q1 - Legends(i was here)

go to sorrento/rye, spent $80 not including accomodation all week and we just met some chicks at night wondering around town, ended up having like a house party at a different groups house every night, was great. oooh and take a video camera if ya can scab one, video camera pranks ftw

Marek bro.. i stayed at crown towers booked through schoolies got the ID and s_it.. and i brought chicks home every night.. security didnt care. I lost my key like 4 times as well they let me in at like 5 am lol

many a fight to be had at surfers, if you manage to stay away from all of that sh!t/deadsh!ts however youre sure to have a mad time. stayed on a houseboat and it was awesome

yeah i went to schoolies on the gold coast 2002. was an awesome time.
beer garden followed up with some beach patrolling, you know where its at

lorne was awesome... they actually block a part of the beach off for schoolies and your legally allowed to drink at the beach.. that being said the pubs are terrible and $9 for a watered down bourbon... go to torquay or byron imo

If you go to lorne make sure you're in a big group. You'll spend most of your time pissing up on the beach and paying way too much for fish and chips.

went to byran bay last year, weather is fkn perfect - especaially coming from melbourne. it was sick.
a few freinds went to lorne, weather is SHIT. atmosphere is shit it is just shit. man up and pay for byran:)
