WCGAU.Syd Qualifier Registrations

Alas, the annual WCG Australian competition is here again for 2009, giving the chance for one skillful team of 5 tickets to Chengdu, China where they will compete against the toughest from all around the world. This opportunity does not come often so do not miss out!

The one and possibly only Sydney qualifier is now open for registration. Pull your team together and start practising, this one is probably the last major event for 2009. The qualifier will be held at Beyond Internet Cafe, located directly opposite from Town Hall station in the city center. Registration information is available below.

just a couple of small things on the 'additional info'

* Flash bugging on purpose will incur a 3 round deduction.

- can we use the patched maps so that flashbugging on nuke etc.. isn't an issue

and * Ghost talking not is permitted.

- I'm assuming that should read 'Ghost talking is not permitted' ?

;d

WCG rules -- You can ghost talk until your screen goes black.

Also, use the flash bug fix maps.

Also, Milky.

#3 yep, i'm guessing you're referring to the drax maps? they will be used but i hear you can still flash bug on them

and yes, accidentally put down "not is" instead of "is not" heh. ghost talking will not be permitted after fadetoblack.

what are the citizenship rules for wcg this year? can non-citizens play at qual and nats? Might gather up a uneek lineup for this.

So what happens if a team with non-citizens qualifies? Would they have to change their line-up for nats or would the next best team take their spot?

say majority of the team (3/5) consisted of citizens, then they qualify for nationals and must change their other 2 players... if its a team of anything less, they will forfeit their invite to the next highest placed team.
